MUSKEGON, Mich. — State Police are at the home of suspected murderer and kidnapper Jeffrey Willis Tuesday morning.

A U-Haul truck is also at the scene in the 1800 block of South Sheridan Drive.  Crews at the scene aren’t explaining what is going on.  The Muskegon County Prosecutor’s office tells FOX 17 that Willis’ wife was asking to remove some of her personal items from the home.

Willis is in jail on charges of attempting to kidnap a 16-year-old girl in April and killing Rebekah Bletsch in 2014.  After his arrest, investigators found child pornography and other explicit materials on his computer, leading to more charges.

Willis is also listed as a person-of-interest in the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa in 2013.  Willis’ cousin Kevin Bluhm is also in jail on charges of lying to police in reference to the Jessica Heeringa investigation.
