MECOSTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 16-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he drove his car into a ditch.
Deputies say they believe fatigue was a factor.
It happened Friday night just before midnight on Northland Dr. North of 11 Mile Rd.
Deputies say the driver went off the road and into a steep ditch. After going into the ditch, the driver hit several trees and a culvert before coming to a rest.
