RUTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A crash in Barry County sent six people to the hospital, three of them had to be transported by Aircare and Aeromed helicopters.
It happened Friday afternoon around 3:00 at the intersection of W. M-179 and S. M-43.
Deputies say a pickup truck going south hit a van that failed to yield at the intersection. A passenger in that van was thrown from the vehicle.
The condition of the six taken to the hospital is still unknown.
Police say alcohol is not a factor but they will continue to investigate the accident.
