VICKSBURG, Mich. – Parents in one Kalamazoo County school district have been notified that a school employee has been charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct.
Vicksburg Community Schools sent the note to parents Thursday notifying them that a non-certified support staff employee had been arrested Wednesday and been released on bond. According to the letter, Kalamazoo Public Safety says that the victim was not a Vicksburg student or resident.
Kalamazoo Public Safety tells FOX 17 that the employee is a custodian.
The employee has been placed on immediate administrative leave. The district says they are cooperating fully with law enforcement.
