GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A phone application is giving music junkies an inside look at local talent, while offering listeners a new way to discover and experience local music.
'Radi8er' is the name of the app, featuring up-and-coming artists like Olivia Mainville & The Aquatic Troupe, and The Crane Wives. The app allows people to hear music being made in their own city by compiling a list of music tailored to the listener.
For a live look at some local talent, a concert called Sound of the City has been created showcasing artists featured in 'Radi8er'. The event starts June 25th from 12-10 p.m. Tickets are only $8.
