  1. Today is National Flip Flop Day, and showing off your toes could get you a cool treat.

The national holiday was created by Tropical Smoothie Cafe and is now in its 10th year.

Anyone wearing flip flops to any of the cafes between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. will receive a free 24-ounce Jetty Punch smoothie.

Patrons are also encouraged to donate money as well. All those funds will go directly to Camp Sunshine, a summer camp for those with mild to moderate cognitive impairments.

2. The classic comedy “Men in Black” is next up for downtown Grand Rapids' Movies in the Park series.

The film, and pre-show activities, take place in Ah-Nab-Awen Park next to the Grand River.

You can get to the park as early as 7 p.m. to play laser tag games, create galaxy goo, or just groove to the music provided by a DJ.

The movie will start at dusk and have English subtitles for the hearing impaired.

Don't forget to bring your own blankets and chairs. You can also bring beer and wine as long as you're 21 or older and have your ID.

3. What is the most popular spot in Grand Rapids for those using Uber?

The ride sharing app released some popular destinations with founders taking the number one spot.

The B.O.B. is at number one, followed by Van Andel Arena, Stella’s, and Hopcat.

Several other locations downtown and in surrounding areas are on the list. Tavern on the Square is the number 10 spot.

Uber began service in Grand Rapids in July of 2014.

4. The annual B-93 Birthday Bash is happening this weekend.

It'll be at the US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin Saturday and Sunday.

Some of the musical acts include Chris Young, Brothers Osbourne, and Frankie Ballard.

Parking passes are limited this year, and they're only being sold ahead of time. Plus, you have to listen to B-93 for ticket drop locations.
