COURTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three people were seriously injured Friday after a head-on crash on Myers Lake Avenue south of 15 Mile Road.
The crash was reported at about 9:08 a.m. after a northbound black Chevy Cavalier crossed the center line and collided with a red Chevy Silverado.
The driver of the Cavalier, 24-year-old Jarrid John Thrush of Edmore, and the driver of the Silverado, 75-year-old James Thomas Byrne of Greenville, were seriously injured. A passenger in the Silverado, 50-year-old Jennifer Marie Carroll of Sand Lake, also suffered serious injuries, according to the sheriff’s department.
