WYOMING, Mich. – Wyoming Police and Silent Observer are renewing calls in the search for a man missing for almost five years.

Gerardo Hipolito-Lopez was reported missing on November 22, 2011.  He was last seen in the parking lot of Frankie V’s Restaurant on 28th Street two days earlier, with his son-in-law.  He had car trouble and the son-in-law walked home to get another vehicle.  When he returned, Hipolito-Lopez was gone, but the vehicle remained.

Hipolito-Lopez is described as Hispanic, 5’8″ tall about 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  He will be 61 years old in July.  He has lived in Texas and Mexico, as well as in Michigan.

Police say there have been very few leads in the case.  They are also trying to find two family members,  daughters Jazmin Calderon, 32, and Joanna Petryk, 25, so they could provide DNA information for future comparison.  Calderon may be living in Texas and Petryk may be in Florida.

Anyone with information should call Wyoming Police at 616-530-7349 or 616-419-5541 or Silent Observer at 774-2345.
