GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The man who allegedly robbed a credit union Monday in Wyoming before being shot and killed by police after being tracked has been identified.

Frank Anthony Kelley, 38, was shot and killed by a Kentwood Police officer in the 4700 block of Holyoke SE Monday.  Grand Rapids Police say that the suspect, Kelley, pointed a handgun at the officer after a short foot chase.

Court records show that Kelley has been previously arrested and incarcerated for Armed Robbery and Felony Firearms charges.  A spokesperson at Kent County 17th Circuit Court says that Kelley was wanted on a bench warrant for Failure to Abide by Probation.  That warrant had been issued on May 5.
