GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — An elderly woman was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 5 p.m. around the intersection of Jupiter and Plainfield. Kent County deputies at the scene told FOX 17 that an elderly woman was in a motorized scooter was struck while crossing the street.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies at the scene say they’re working on learning the circumstances that led up to the collision.
