CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — A GoFundMe page has been created to help the Elferdink children, who discovered their parents’ bodies after a murder-suicide over the weekend.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies say Mark Elferdink shot his wife, Hope, before turning the gun on himself.   Mark was a deputy with the department for nearly 20 years.

The page states that the money raised will go towards education and therapy for the couples’ son and daughter. So far, more than $4,000 has been raised.
