NORTON SHORES, Mich. – Police say they arrested a suspect for an armed robbery at a Norton Shores convenience store.

Police were called to the JNS Convenience Store in the 800 block of east Broadway at about 8:15am.  Employees told them the man entered the store with a black handgun and demanded cash.  He left heading east on Broadway in a light-colored Cadillac.

Shortly after, officers found the suspect parked in the 2900 block of Valk.  He was taken into custody and is being questioned for other area armed robberies. Police say he is not a suspect in the bank robbery at First Merit Bank on May 23rd.
