GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A 21-year-old who has been in jail since August 2015 is a suspect in a Grand Rapids murder.
Sanqua Cummings is expected to be charged with Open Murder, Felony Firearms Possession and being a Gang Member in the shooting death of Marquaan Crosby. Crosby, 17 at the time, was shot and killed near the intersection of Adams Street and Marshall Avenue SE on August 12, 2015.
Cummings was jailed in August of 2015 on unrelated charges. He may be arraigned on Thursday.
