GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Eastbound I-96 has reopened after a serious crash involving a motorcycle.
Police tell us that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The driver apparently hit the guardrail and crashed in the roadway. The victim was a man from California. He was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
As of 4:00pm, one lane was still closed. The highway opened completely about 4:15pm.
