Fatal crash closes westbound I-96 after I-196 split

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Westbound I-96 is closed at the I-196 split after a fatal crash Friday.

The one-vehicle crash is just before the Leonard Street exit. One person was killed.

No other injuries have been reported.
