Michigan’s Adventure opens this weekend

MUSKEGON, Mich. - The weather is getting warmer and summer is getting closer.  Michigan's Adventure opens this weekend.

The amusement park and Funland Farm open on May 27.  The WildWater Adventure opens on May 28.

This will be the 60th year of an amusement park being at the site at 1198 Riley-Thompson Road.  The park started in 1956 as Deer Park, a petting zoo.  The park now has over 60 rides and attractions, including the Funland Farm that opens this season and brings deer and other animals back to the park.

May 29 and 30, Michigan's Adventure will offer free admission to active and retired U.S. military personnel as a Tribute to the Armed Forces.  Active and retired military personnel can also buy up to six tickets for their family members at a discounted price of $25 each.

Michigan's Adventure Season Passes are now on sale at a discounted rate though May 30.  Season pass holders are offered a variety of perks, including early water park entry on select days, bring-a-friend days and park discounts.  For more, call 231.766.3377, or visit miadventure.com.
