NEWAYGO, Mich. – The boy from Grant killed in a crash has been identified.
Luke Snyder, 12, was a passenger in a two-car crash Friday evening at the intersection of 22 Mile Road and Elder Avenue. Bystanders performed CPR on Snyder until deputies arrived. Snyder was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle Snyder was in was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver and a passenger of the other car were treated for injuries at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
The Newaygo County Sheriff says a Crisis Intervention Team is on hand at the boy’s school today to assist with grieving students and staff.
