PORTAGE, Mich. — Hundreds of motorcycle riders on Saturday both honored and provided financial assistance to the families of those killed and injured in a Feb. 20 shooting rampage in Kalamazoo.
The Perry Harley-Davidson Community Memorial Ride took place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and raised money for the six people killed and two who survived the shootings.
The ride both started and finished up at Perry Harley-Davidson, located at 5331 S. Sprinkle Road in Portage. In between the motorcyclists completed a 50-mile loop through Mattawan.
Afterward, the dealership hosted food for sale provided by Jimmy's BBQ as well as many sales within the dealership.
All proceeds went to the families of the eight shooting victims.
