CANTON, Mich. — A traffic stop on the east side of the state turned out to be anything but routine on Sunday.
Officers in Canton say a PT Cruiser was stopped after an officer noticed faulty equipment on the vehicle.
A Michigan State Police narcotics detection dog assisted with a search at the scene, finding 12 kilograms of suspected cocaine.
The driver, a 32-year-old male who hasn’t been identified, was taken into custody.
