BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A woman suffered serious injuries when she was stabbed in the neck early Wednesday morning in Battle Creek.
Police say it happened at around 5:00 a.m. on Capital Ave NE. When officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old victim with stab wounds to the neck, but the suspect had left the scene. Police later caught the 49-year-old man and arrested him for attempted murder.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where she was last listed in serious but stable condition.
