WEST MICHIGAN- The old saying goes “April showers bring May flowers,” and that’s certainly what the city of Holland looks forward to each year to produce beautiful scenery near the lakeshore.
It looks like those “April showers” plan to carry into the remainder of this week for several events during Tulip Time week as well.
A cold front will move through the area Thursday morning, providing thunderstorms to begin the day. Expect the latter half of the day to remain dry and continue into Friday as well before the next chance of rain Saturday.
In addition to many of the events going on throughout the next several days, the Children’s Parade is taking place at 2 o’clock on Thursday afternoon. It looks like the rain will be over at that point, with temperatures falling throughout the day. As far as Saturday’s Music Parade is concerned, expect light showers with chilly conditions throughout the day.
