OTSEGO, Mich. — Five students were taken to the hospital Monday after a crash involving two school buses in Otsego.
One of the school buses rear-ended the other near Washington Street and North Street, according to an Otsego Schools spokesperson. The crash was reported at about 3:20 p.m., according to the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch.
The students’ injuries are considered minor, the Otsego Schools spokesperson said. The buses were carrying middle and high school age students at the time of the crash.
The spokesperson said the remaining students were checked by paramedics before being picked up by their parents.
