BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Police are investigating after 2 people were reportedly shot in a drive-by-shooting Friday evening.
It happened around 8:15 pm. in the area of Kendall Street and Parkway Drive in Battle Creek.
According to police, initial reports stated a verbal argument at Michigan Street and Kendall Street took place prior to the shooting. One vehicle left the area, which police say was targeted by a gunman in another vehicle at the shooting scene.
A 22-year-old male driver was shot in the torso and a 22-year-old female backseat passenger was shot in the arm. Both are in stable condition according to police.
