GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A Grand Rapids woman has died after being injured in a crash last week.

Mary Fanroy-Milton, 42, was hurt in the crash at Alger Street and Madison Avenue SE at about 6:45am Friday morning.  Police say that her vehicle was heading east on Alger when she went through a flashing red light and was hit by a southbound vehicle.  Police say that Fanroy-Milton and the other driver were both conscious and alert following the crash, but Fanroy-Milton complained of head pains.

She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment, but her condition deteriorated.  She died Sunday evening.

Police say neither alcohol nor speed were factors in the crash.  Police are still investigating.
