Athanasiou returns to Griffins for Division Finals

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich -- The Grand Rapids Griffins are getting ready for the best-of-seven Central Division Finals against the Lake Erie Monsters.  Game 1 of the series is on Thursday in Cleveland.  The Griffins, who swept the Milwaukee Admirals in the first round, get an added boost from the return of Andreas Athanasiou.  The forward played 37 games for the Red Wings this season, scoring nine goals with 14 points.  He also played in all five of the Red Wings playoff games against Tampa Bay, scoring his first post-season goal in game 3.
