GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Eleven different acts were announced for this summer’s fifth annual GRandJazzFest in Grand Rapids.
The main headline act – Cindy Bradley – will be the first woman to headline the festival. Bradley, a trumpet player from New York, will perform Saturday night on August 20.
The next day, the festival is set to be headlined by Chris Standring, a guitarist from the United Kingdom.
The other nine acts include:
- Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra with Edye Evans Hyde
- Tumbao Bravo
- Steve Hilger
- Tim Bowman
- Student Showcase band – Bierenga-Sullivan Quintet
- Lakeshore Big Band
- Urban Jazz Coalition
- Walter White

GRandJazzFest is a free jazz festival presented by DTE Energy Foundation, whose stated purpose is to promote and bring awareness of jazz and related arts to new audiences. The festival will be held in downtown Grand Rapids at Rosa Parks Circle.
