MUSKEGON, Mich. — The second suspect in a fatal Muskegon shooting has been arrested in Ohio.
Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat says 20-year-old Jaylan Deshawn Traviss was arrested Wednesday in Cincinnati.
He’s facing charges of open murder, felony firearms and armed robbery in connection with the April 2 shooting of Charles Cuti. Traviss is behind bars in Ohio and is awaiting extradition to Michigan, Maat said.
Another suspect, Corey Nathaniel Burt. Jr., is also charged with open murder and armed robbery in connection with Cuti’s death.
Cuti, 23, of Nunica was found dead April 2 in a parking lot outside Sam’s Drink All Party Store, 1500 S. Getty St.
