Minor injuries reported after crash at the intersection of Hall and Madison

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Only minor injuries were reported after a 2-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Grand Rapids.

It happened around 6:22 p.m. at the intersection of Hall and Madison.

The Grand Rapids Police Department said a Jeep was traveling east on Hall Street when it ran a red light and struck a GMC Yukon driving north on Madison. Police said the impact sent both vehicles into a building on the northeast corner of the intersection.

The building sustained minor damage, while both vehicles were said to have significant damage.

Police don’t believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
