MASON TOWNSHIP, Mich.— An Indiana man is dead and another injured following a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to the crash around 12:26am on M-205 near Cassopolis Street.
Deputies say 22-year-old Daimon Leader, of Elkhart, Indiana, was driving a motorcycle on M-205 when he was hit by a pick-up truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Elkhart driver of the pick-up truck, 21-year-old Bradley Wiswell, was taken to a hospital in Elkhart for his injuries.
Deputies say helmets and seat belts were used at the time of the crash. It’s unknown if alcohol was a factor.
The crash remains under investigation.
