WELLESLEY, Mass. (AP) — The dancing Donald Trumps are no more.

A suburban Boston school this week nixed a performance by three 11-year-old boys whose talent show act included wearing giant Donald Trump masks and dancing for two minutes without saying anything.

The Boston Globe reports (http://bit.ly/1Sco1ws ) that officials at Fiske Elementary School in Wellesley told the boys to ditch the masks or sit out of the afternoon talent show Wednesday, after receiving a complaint about their performance at a morning show.

The mother of two of the boys, twins Marc and David Maggiacomo, says they couldn’t do their act without the masks.

It’s not clear who complained or why.

Wellesley schools Superintendent David Lussier says it’s important for the schools to be seen as nonpartisan in a “highly charged election environment.”
