EAST LANSING, Mich. – A body discovered on the campus of Michigan State University has been identified as a student who went missing over the weekend.
Michigan State University Police say the body found Wednesday on south campus is the body of student Patrick Kegan Cochrane. He was reported missing on the morning of April 9.
Foul play is not suspected. Police say that messages posted on Cochrane’s social media accounts had indicated that he had plans to take his own life.
Anyone with other information or who may have seen Cochrane after 3:15pm on April 8 should call police at 517-355-2222.
