MASON COUNTY, Mich. – A Mason County man missing since the weekend has been found outside of Michigan.

Vaughn Flewelling was found by law enforcement in another state and say that Flewelling is fine and is traveling on his own free will.  Because Flewelling has not broken any laws, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office tells FOX 17 that they are not revealing where he is, out of respect for his privacy.

Flewelling’s family has been notified that he is well.

According to the sheriff’s office, Flewelling apparently parked his car Monday at an apartment complex that is next to the Kmart on Apple Avenue.  He then walked to a Greyhound bus terminal and took a bus to Grand Rapids, where he then headed out of state.

Flewelling had been missing since Monday morning when he failed to open his grocery store, Hamlin Grocery on Jebavy.
