BLOOMINGDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A three-year-old boy suffered critical injuries and two other people were injured in a crash in Van Buren County Tuesday night.
The crash happened on County Road 665 at about 9:45pm.
Michigan State Police say a 26-year-old Bloomingdale woman lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled over. The boy was thrown from the vehicle. He was airlifted to Bronson Hospital and is in critical condition.
The woman was also taken to Bronson Hospital by ambulance. A five-year-old girl who was also in the vehicle is being treated for minor injuries.
Police say that neither child was in a child safety seat. Police also say that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
