MICHIGAN — If you’re looking to adopt a pet, the Bissell Pet Foundation is holding another Empty the Shelters day.
On Saturday, May 7, the organization will pay for all adoption fees at more than 20 shelters across the state, including many in West Michigan. As a thank you, Bissell will also provide a free “AdoptBox” filled with toys and treats.
While the foundation is covering the adoption fees, adopters will have to pay between $7 and $12 for a dog license, according to the Bissell website. For more details, visit the Bissell Pet Foundation’s website.
