Body found on MSU Campus

EAST LANSING, Mich – The Michigan State University Police Department is working to identify a body found on campus this morning.

Investigators say the discovery was made around 11:40 a.m. in a heavily wooded area east of the Baker Woodlot.

Police are yet to positively identify the person.  An autopsy will also help them determine the cause and manner of death.

Police say at this point in the investigation they don’t suspect foul play, adding they don’t believe there is any threat to the campus community.
