NEWAYGO, Mich. - A fire destroyed a Newaygo home Tuesday morning.
The fire happened about 7:00am in the 3700 block of Locust Avenue.
Everyone was able to get out of the house, including several pets, except for one cat that hid. One firefighter suffered a minor injury when he slipped and fell.
The family tells FOX 17 that they think the fire started in the garage, but that has not yet been officially determined.
