MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. – A Montcalm County woman has pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license causing death and will spend a year in jail.
Susan Rieckman entered the plea Thursday. Her official sentencing date has not yet been set.
Rieckman was driving in downtown Greenville on September 14th when she turned left at the corner of Washington and Lafayette and struck a four-year-old boy and a family member of his. The boy, Talos Bills, died from his injuries. The family member suffered other injuries.
