GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Authorities have identified the man and woman found dead inside a Grand Rapids home in an apparent murder-suicide.
Grand Rapids police said Monday that a medical examiner’s report indicates Robert Alfaro, 60, shot Diana DeYoung, 65, before turning the gun on himself.
DeYoung and Alfaro were found deadFriday at a residence in the 100 block of Franklin Street SW.
Police were called to to the home for a welfare check. DeYoung’s employer contacted police because she had not been at work since Wednesday.
