HOLLAND, Mich. – An Ottawa County man will spend at least five years in prison for a crash that killed an 18-year-old girl.
Ronald Mancha, 21, will spend between five and 15 years in prison for Driving with a Suspended License, Causing Death, in the crash that killed Marissa Kronemeyer at about 5:00am on June 28. The crash happened on Douglas Avenue near VanDyke Street. Investigators said Mancha had been up all night and was heading to a nearby residence. Kronemeyer was on her way to work.
Kronemeyer’s father addressed the court at Monday’s sentencing and asked for a sentence of more than three years. He also said that they have forgiven Mancha.
We’ll have reactions from the courtroom on later editions of FOX 17 News.
