GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Department says there has been an increase in wheel and tire thefts involving vehicles around Grand Rapids, Kentwood and Wyoming.
Most of the thefts are occurring with new vehicles on dealership lots. According to a release, there have also been cases involving vehicles in private and public parking areas.
Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call their local police agency. Confidential reports can be made to Help Eliminate Auto Thefts (HEAT) at 800-242-HEAT.
