Theodore White was arrested Monday in Dowagiac. The Dowagiac Public Safety Director Steven Grinnewald said in a press release that because White had prior firearms convictions, he was not legally allowed to own a firearm or ammunition.
White was charged with a probation violation and for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He is being held on a $10,000 bond and a probation hold.
