GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Crews are responding to a crash scene where a pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle.

The incident happened at about 11:30am at the intersection of 28th Street and Breton Avenue SE.

Our crew at the scene says a man went to retrieve some lumber that had fallen out of his truck and into the street, when he was struck by a car which was turning left.  That driver did have a green arrow to turn.

The man was reported to be conscious, but was suffering from a head injury.
