GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The man arrested earlier this week on multiple felony counts related to a shooting that happened at a Family Fare parking lot was arraigned today.

Bakari Dixon, 24, is being charged with armed robbery, assault with intent to murder, and felony firearm possession in connection to Tuesday night’s shooting at the Family Fare parking lot on Fulton Street, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

Dixon is suspected of pulling a gun on two other men during a Craigslist deal over property. He ran away after he and another man involved fired shots at each other.

A preliminary exam for Dixon is scheduled for March 24 at the 61st District Court. Dixon is being held on a $250,000 bond.
