GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man has been arrested and is facing several charges in connection with a Tuesday night shooting in the parking lot of Family Fare, 1415 E. Fulton St.
The man is being charged with armed robbery, assault with intent to murder and felony firearms, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
He’s expected to be charged Friday. His name will be released after he is arraigned.
Police said Monday that three men met in the Family Fare parking lot to conduct a “legal transaction” when one of the men pulled a gun and shot at the other two.
One of the two men being shot at returned fire at the suspect, who then ran away.
No one was injured by gunfire, according to police.
The suspect was arrested Wednesday.
