KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The 14-year-old victim from a Kalamazoo shooting spree that left six people dead continues to improve.

Bronson Healthcare has confirmed that Abigail Kopf’s condition has been upgraded to ‘fair’ Tuesday morning.

Kopf was critically wounded and crews at the scene of the February 20 shooting were close to pronouncing her dead when she squeezed the hand of her mother.  Four others, including Kopf’s grandmother, were killed at the Cracker Barrel restaurant.

Over this weekend, Kopf’s family announced that she was breathing on her own and then the hospital upgraded her condition to ‘serious’.

Six people total were killed and two wounded in the shooting spree.  Jason Dalton is in custody charged with the six murders.

The other wounded victim, Tiana Carruthers, is also still hospitalized.
