UPDATE: The Wyoming Department of Public Safety said Helen McCarter has been located and is safe.
WYOMING, Mich. — The Wyoming Department of Public Safety is asking for help finding a missing teen.
Helen Renee McCarter, 16, was last seen around 10:00pm Saturday leaving her home in the 900 block of 34th Street SW.
She was reported missing at 2:00am Sunday. According to her parents, she is cognitively impaired and has a hard time making good decisions.
McCarter is described as a white female, 5 foot 8 inches, 120 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing pink and white striped pants with a black hooded sweatshirt.
