LANSING, Mich. — Gov. Rick Snyder announced Thursday that he is replacing his press secretary and director of communications.
Ari B. Adler will replace Meegan Holland as director of communications. Holland was named special projects manager for the governor’s office.
She will concentrate on “veterans affairs issues” followinga damning auditof the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans andthe replacement of the state department of Military and Veterans Affairs, the governor’s office said in release.
Press secretary Dave Murray is being named director of communications for the Michigan Department of Talent and Economic Development, the governor’s office said.
A replacement for Murray was not named.
According to Gov. Snyder’s Office, Adler previously served as communications director for the state’s Department of Transportation and as press secretary for leaders in the state legislature.
