NEW HAVEN, Mich. – A New Haven man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stabbing another man in the back.
Vincent Sergey Romaniuk, 54, was charged with Assault with Intent to Commit Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder, Wednesday.
Macomb County investigators say a 34-year-old New Haven man went into the Marathon Gas Station on Main Street just before noon Tuesday saying he didn’t feel well and needed an ambulance. He told the clerk he had been stabbed in the “white building down the street.” He also gave the deputies Romaniuk’s name as the person who had stabbed him.
Romaniuk is being held on $20,000 bond.
