DETROIT, Mich.— The man Detroit police were searching for in the Amber Alert for a 4-year-old girl turned himself in to police Sunday morning.
According to FOX 2, Detroit police say 33-year-old Marcus Hightower, the man suspected of taking Savanna Walker, turned himself in.
Hightower is in custody and being questioned by police.
Police stress that the Amber Alert is still active and are waiting to identify the two bodies that were found after a vacant house fire on Detroit’s east side on Saturday.
