GRAND HAVEN, Mich.--A woman was killed during a fire at a mobile home in Grand Haven Tuesday evening.

Grand Haven Public Safety reports that they responded to a fire at Village Green mobile home community just after 6:00 p.m., and found the unit on fire with flames and heavy smoke showing.

At first, crews did not know if anyone was in the home, but once they entered they found a woman and rushed her out. However, she did not survive. The woman has been identified as Suzanne Piasecki.  She was 56 years old.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine her cause of death.  Piasecki's dog also died in the fire.
